YM & YWHA of Inwood and Washington Heights
Established in 1917, the YM&YWHA of Washington Heights & Inwood (the Y) is a not-for-profit human services organization in Northern Manhattan. We provide educational, recreational, and social services and programs that focus on improving the quality of life for New Yorkers from preschool to seniors. During the current pandemic, we have launched a robust virtual program -- The Y @ Home -- with many fun and meaningful online events.
We are also providing help with access to food, mental health counseling, emergency cash assistance, guidance with benefit enrollment, medical care, or other emergency services at this time through our website.
