Artists Fellowship Emergency Financial Aid

The Artists’ Fellowship provides one-time emergency aid to professional visual fine artists and their families in times of sickness, natural disaster, bereavement or unexpected extreme hardship that can be documented through paid or unpaid invoices, bills, or contracts.
Eligibility: please note that “Professional” is defined as those visual artists who make their livelihood through sales as reported on a Schedule C with a U.S. Federal tax return. An active exhibition history is also an important part of documenting “professional.”
Application: Meeting monthly from September to June, the Board of Trustees reviews all applications to determine if they have been properly submitted and if they are eligible. Applicants are encouraged to do this early in the month. The Board does not meet in July and August.
