Identity House
Identity House provides peer counseling in NYC – for LGBTQ+ folks, by LGBTQ+ folks. We run a walk-in center for one-time individual sessions, short-term counseling, and support groups focused on issues around sexual orientation and gender identity & expression, including alienation, relationships, and family.
Our volunteer peer counselors use active listening and share their own stories to help deepen perspectives on LGBTQ+ identity, address challenges, and develop community.
